Rocking Chair Cushions

begins filming The Hobbit ^ ^

In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit ...

We can celebrate, because at the end shooting The Hobbit has begun! seems incredible, considering the many problems and obstacles they have had on the road, and Sauron himself gave so many problems. But we can say that we are well filled: the day has come.

Today March 21 in New Zealand have started the way back to Middle Earth , specifically to Middle-earth 60 years before they showed us in The Lord of the Rings. The story, adapted from the book The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien, will be in two films, both directed by Peter Jackson screenplay by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Guillermo del Toro and Jackson himself, shot two 3D .

"The Hobbit follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins, the hobbit of the title, which is drawn into an epic quest to recover the lost dwarven kingdom of Erebor, which was conquered long ago by the dragon Smaug. Pushed to adventure the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo is joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by Thorin legendary warrior Oakenshield. Your journey will take them to a wildlife through treacherous lands are a hive of Goblins and Orcs, Wargs deadly and Giant Spiders, Cambiapieles and Wizards.

Although their target is to the east, in the desolate land on which stands the Lonely Mountain, they must first escape from the tunnels of the goblins, where Bilbo found a creature that will change your life forever ... Gollum.

here alone with Gollum, beside an underground lake, the modest Bilbo Baggins discovers not only the depth of his cunning and courage, surprised even himself for it, but also win the "treasure" of Gollum , a ring having unexpected and useful qualities ... A simple gold ring that is tied to the fate of Middle-earth in a Bilbo can not begin to understand

I remember the cast of the movies, those confirmed so far: Martin Freeman plays the title role as Bilbo Baggins and Ian McKellen returns in the role of Gandalf the Grey. The dwarfs are played by Richard Armitage (Thorin Escudo de Roble), Ken Stott (Balin), Graham McTavish (Dwalin), William Kircher (Bifur) James Nesbitt (Bofur), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), Rob Kazinsky (Fili) Aidan Turner (Kili), Peter Hambleton (Gloin), Callen John (Oin), Jed Brophy (Nori), Mark Hadlow (Dori) and Adam Brown (Ori). reprise their roles from The Lord of the Rings we with Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Andy Serkis as Gollum, and Elijah Wood as Frodo. Jeffrey Thomas and Mike Mizrahi also joined the cast as as the Dwarfs Thror and Thráin Reyes, respectively. And they expect, of course, more ads about the cast (which give the can go here as: P, to see if it confirms rumors and names of those who have spoken these weeks ago ...).

As the technical team in the press release that has come all the names are given ( click to read, in English): We say that and worked most the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings ^ ^. Dan Hennah is the production manager, Alan Lee and John Howe will never be the conceptual designers, makeup and hair salon run by Peter King, and Ann Maskrey and Richard Taylor will be the costume designers. Taylor also will design and production of all weapons, armor and prosthetics of the films, which in turn will be built by Weta Workshop. In turn, Joe Letteri lead the team at Weta Digital will be responsible for the visual effects The Hobbit. The only one of all these names have not yet worked with Jackson is Maskrey, costume, but to name some of his work: Troy, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, The Duchess, etc.

The production is carried out by New Line Cinema and MGM. Warner Bros Pictures has distribution much of the world.

Both films are scheduled to premiere in late 2012 and 2013 , respectively. And there are rumors they have pointed and titles that could lead , although nothing is confirmed. As stated a few weeks ago, New Line may have recorded the names: The Hobbit: There and Back Again and The Hobbit: An / The Unexpected Journey . The translation would be The Hobbit: Departure and Return or The Hobbit: The Story of Ida and Back Again (both for the first movie, two titles published in books), and the second title would be The Hobbit: A / The Unexpected Journey. Hopefully be confirmed soon, would be a totally appropriate title:)

And, to round out the issue, have leaked the first two production photos that adorn this entry: Peter Jackson on the set of The Hobbit. The first picture is identical to one that was leaked to The Fellowship of the Ring, is distinguished only by the spectacular cambiazo Jackson has stuck ^ ^

The journey begins ... again>: D
